1. Entrants must attend the conference to be eligible.

2. For fiction, non-fiction and romance categories: submit five (5) copies of the first four (4) pages of your manuscript and a one page single spaced synopsis. 

The manuscript should be typed, double spaced, on 8 � x 11 white paper using 12 point, 25 lines per page, and one inch margins.

3. For screenplay category: submit five copies of the first 10 pages according to industry standards and a one page single spaced synopsis.

4. Each entry should consist of a title page containing name, address, phone number, email (if applicable), title of the work and category. The author's name should not appear anywhere on the manuscript.

5. Entry must be original, unpublished and  un-produced, and not accepted by any publisher or producer at the time of submission.

6. Entries exceeding the page limit will be disqualified.

7. Entries must be postmarked by July 16^th, 2001. All manuscripts may be picked up at the end of the conference.

8. Winners will be announced Saturday, September 22, 2001 at the conference.

9. Finalists will be judged by the presenters.
