In 1994 a group of writers got together and became The Penticton Writers And Publishers.  To celebrate their 10^th Anniversary, a call was issued to established and emerging writers, of the province, to submit stories and poems of outstanding persons, places or events within British Columbia.

To Hope And Beyond: Tales and Poems of British Columbia will be released in June 2004.  The collection of submissions from writers across the province has been turned into a wonderful volume.  Penticton Writers and Publishers are please to have permission from the British Columbia protocol office to use the BC Flag as the cover of this anthology.

A small sample of stories and poems include: the only Canadian (from BC) ever to be nominated for the Wine Maker Of The World Award; a BC hen, who held the record for laying the most eggs in one year, a record which was held until the 1980s, as well as praise penned to pickles, lakes, Nature�s Icons, salmon and more from our poets.
