Raise A Reader
"In the fall of 2007, the Penticton Herald newspapers invited Penticton Writers and Publishers (PWAP) to host Raise a Reader in our area. We took the funds raised and brought authors, poets and illustrators into the classrooms and schools in Spring 2008. With each visit Raise a Reader purchased copies of the presenters' work and gifted it to each student, who took part in the presentation."
